Sept. 24 thru Oct. 11, 2011, the 3D2R Rotuma DX-pedition Team travels to Fiji Island on the way to Rotuma Island.

Our 3D2R Team departed LAX on Thursday evening at 11:30 PM, Air Pacific Airlines, Sept. 22, 2011  crossing the time line and arrived at Nadi International Airport, Nadi, Fiji Island on Saturday morning at 5:30 AM, Sept. 24, 2011. On that morning, we traveled direct to Suva using two mini vans and stayed at the Hotel Novotel in Suva until our Yacht, Sere Ni Wai (Island Dancer II; Leave A Boat Class), depart for Rotuma on Monday, 8:30 PM, Sept.

We arrived back in Suva at 11:30 PM, Oct. 8, 2011. Our team stayed at the Hotel Novotel Suva Lami Bay in Suva, Fiji next to where we loaded and unloaded. Team members operated with their personal 3D2 call signs from the Novotel. The personal call signs used where:
